Cretin 77; born from the ashes of local Corby faves “Pig Champion”, formed in 2012. The original line-up consisted of Joe, Sox, Mark and Jammie. Cretin 77 quickly gained a large local following on the punk circuit.

A year down the line in 2013 saw the addition of Andy Bones (formerly of Corby punk upstarts “B-Movie Britz”).

Within a few months, the bands debut album “Cretin City Terminal” was released in true DIY fashion, which gained rave reviews in the underground Punk circuit and was championed by the likes of Vive le Rock Magazine, giving the album an impressive 8/10.

After gigging extensively in the UK (including major punk festivals and a one off gig in Dublin), releasing “Cretin city Terminal” and appearing on a split release with the Destructors, the band disbanded in 2015 shortly after the departure of Joe, who was replaced briefly by Skewis (B-Movie Britz).

Now after a 4 year hiatus, original members Joe, Sox and Andy Bones are back in 2019, with the addition of Luke (Headstone Horrors) and Joel (Sprainer). To bring the Cretins to a town or city near you, get in touch via:
