Music festival held at De Montfort Hall and Gardens

Y Not Festival

Held over the border in Derbyshire and now one of the established top rank national events.

August

Caribbean Carnival

Usually held in early August; a parade followed by a festival on Victoria Park.

City Festival

In August a festival of arts and music takes place in Leicester that includes the Cosmopolitan carnival.

Loughborough

Two festivals – BeaconFest and PhantomFest are held each year in August.

Oxjam leicester Takeover

Takes place usually in October each year.
