Friday evening and the Glastonbudget Music Festival gets under way

Leicestershire’s Glastonbudget Music Festival took place over the weekend 24th to 26th May 2013 and was attended by a record crowd. Saturday and Sunday were fabulous – hot sunshine, a great atmosphere and music to make your heart sing from a wide variety of bands.

The ArtsIn media team  saw a lot of bands over the weekend and we will be writing about all the acts saw in our full review, which is being prepared now. Please come back to read our reviews.

In the meantime here are just a few of the comments we have found:

“Back from the most amazing weekend away at Glastonbudget – billed as the World’s Largest Tribute Band Festival. We had a capacity audience in the Big Top Stage on Saturday and the crowd reaction was stunning. We had people cheering from the first big notes of Shine On and there were a lot of emotional tears flowing. The cheering at the end of Numb was deafening. Very humbling and we were all so proud Huge feedback all weekend long. What a brilliant festival” – Steve Munns, Bassist, The Dark Side of Pink Floyd.
