The Heroes…

remembered

Today marks the publication of the biography of Leicester band The Heroes. The band was one of the most popular and successful bands in the city from their formation in 2007 through to their demise in 2010.

‘The Heroes… in golden times – the story of a band’, written by Trevor Locke, was published today by ArtsIn Publications. The 41 page book tells the story of a band that achieved so much in their time: they played at Glastonbury, they won the Original Bands Showcase, they played the main stage at Summer Sundae festival, they got through to the national finals of Surface Unsigned and did so much more besides.

These photos capture some of the scenes and images of the band over the years.
