Websites about music

Great Central

The big news is, of course, the launch of Great Central. It’s the new magazine about the arts and culture in Leicester. The website offers articles about music, comedy, arts/theatre/performance, Food and drink. It’s all about Leicester.

We have now got our hands on a copy of the first issue of Great Central. It seems to be available at most live music venues in the city centre and further afield. Yes, it’s looking good. Issue 1 contains articles on well known bands such as Kermes, Lonely The Brave and such like.  There are also sections for comedy, film, Food & drink,  and a variety of ‘Other’ articcles. The format is slightly smaller than A4 sheet and the pages are held together with staples.  The whole of it is printed in colour. It runs to 40 pages.

So yeah; Great Central; a must-read periodical from now on for anyone with an interest in the arts and music.

See the website for Great Central.
