Preview – Connor Selby + Ramblin’ Preachers & Elysian at The Musician, Friday 2nd August 2019

Organised by Casbah Music Management and Promotions

When you go to gigs/festivals, sometimes you find your new favourite bands that you and your friends didn’t know existed

Connor Selby enthralled the audience at London’s 90,000 seat Wembley Stadium, the largest stadium in the UK. In July 2019, The Who, Kaiser Chiefs, Imelda May, and Eddie Vedder had the young prominent figure as a support act.

Conner is an upcoming blues-rock musician, from Essex, creating his songs from lyrics, and playing them as a bandleader, on vocals and guitars, sounding like Eric Clapton.

The notable points of his performance would be his significantly skillful and expressive guitar sound, and soulful vocal style. They were obtained from his long music career, by delving into the works of blues-rock pioneers, such as Eric Clapton, BB King, Ray Charles, and Nick Drake, though he is still in his early 20s’.

His debut album released in 2018, Made Up My Mind, shows his musical talents melodiously, and it will make your shoulders swing smoothly in comfort.

On 2nd August in 2019, Connor will step onto the stage of The Musician in Leicester, with his band members, Fergie Fulton (bass), Anthony Paine (drums) and Joe Anderton (rhythm guitar), and a supporting band called Ramblin’ Preachers, a 4 piece blues/rock band from Milton Keynes.

Doors open at 19:30.
