Sorry, four-piece alternative band, formed by Asha Lorenz and Louis O’Bryen, has been noticed for their lo-fi fuzzy grunge everywhere from Vice and Wonderland to The Guardian. Playing along with genre-bending/soon-to-be huge gems like HMLTD, Sunflower Bean and Fontaines D.C., they’ve gathered quite a mass of admirers. Shame, who they’d previously shared a stage with, praised them – “They are not here to impress anyone or write songs they feel would give the A&Rs in the crowd a boner, they are here because music is truly their passion.”
Denying to be categorised, their distinctively weary rock ’n’ roll is so unique and elusive that they just may be the 2020 grant re-discovery. Especially with debut album ‘925‘ set to be released in Spring via Domino Recording Co. For a pre-taste give a listen to their newest single Right Round The Clock, a nonchalant femme-fatale satire of Tears For Fears Mad World.
