Preview – The Soundhouse Summer Sessions at The Soundhouse from Saturday 22nd May 2021

Nestled away in Leicester’s cultural quarter is one of the city’s hidden live music gems, the independently proud Soundhouse. Home of arguably the city’s best open mic night, a stage for up and coming, established, and touring acts alike, there is many a musician in this town that calls this old pub home.

The Soundhouse, its owners, its staff, and its customers are truly dedicated to music, so where better to spend a Saturday afternoon in the venue’s recently refurbished beer garden with its very own outdoor stage.

Kicking off Saturday 22nd May, the venue plans to provide patrons with free live outdoor music every Saturday afternoon (weather provided) over the summer months. The Soundhouse will present some of the best local singer-songwriters and serve some of the coldest beer in town every Saturday until September.

Admission is always free but it will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. The first session will feature the delights of talented songstress and local favourite, Emily Carr, Rum Weather frontman Lee Rushin, hotly tipped upcoming artist Evie Ward, indie-folker Luke Coates, and Soundhouse favourite Full-Fathom-Five.

The Soundhouse Summer Sessions begin Saturday 22nd May, doors open at 1pm, 28 Southampton Street. Admission is free. For more details click here.
