The City Link-up show 25th July<\/h1>\n

July’s City Link-up for was, for the first time, at The Music Cafe, in the Braunstone Gate area of Leicester.<\/p>\n

On stage tonight, another line-up of superb artists including:<\/p>\n

Delores (Leicester)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Opening the show tonight was jazz singer Delores. Her sensational voice and beautiful set of songs delivered a splendid start to the night.<\/p>\n

Scarlette Says (Redditch)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Female vocalist Scarlette was on stage with rapper Sleeka<\/p>\n

Michael Vickers (Bristol)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Vickers from Leicester, but now based in Bristol, offered up a great set of songs, laced with good humour and full of personality. Singers mainly his own works, he delighted the audience with his characteristic music.<\/p>\n

Chikka Moyo (Leicester)<\/strong><\/p>\n

This Leicester singer has a great voice and her cover of The Smith’s Charming Man<\/em>, was particularly well put together and interpreted.<\/p>\n

The Orator (Leicester)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Returning for another set, following his performance at the launch night, \u00a0The Orator presented another selection of his engaging and delightful \u00a0spoken word poems.<\/p>\n

Jonezy (Leicester)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Leicester’s outstanding rapper was on top form tonight to deliver his set of original raps.<\/p>\n

Little Missz (London)<\/strong><\/p>\n

A sensational set from this remarkable reggae artist.<\/p>\n
