This page is about Leicester bands that play metal (in its various flavours) and post-hardcore.<\/p>\n

We keep finding new bands and add them to the list, so please come back for updates.<\/p>\n

Defining the genre for ‘metal’ is not easy and there will always be bands whose music is hard to categorise; indeed, we know that some bands do not like being categorised. Lists are lists so please bear with us if you think we get it wrong.<\/p>\n

We have a broad church<\/em> take on what is metal and have included hard rock, metal-core, post-hardcore, etc<\/p>\n
