Western Park Festival 2016<\/h1>\n

This year’s music festival held on Western Park took place on Saturday 9th July 2016.<\/p>\n

MIL’s media team was there to bring you pictures of artists and bands that played.<\/p>\n

Western Park was the setting for the annual festival of live music in which many of the acts were from the local area. \u00a0The weather seems to have been less kind this year; as Keith Jobey told us “I was watching The Lost Future playing on\u00a0the main stage before the gust of wind took out the sound desk gazebo and lifted the front half of the main stage. ” Rain in the morning might have softened the ground, we suspect.<\/p>\n

The event at Western Park offered much more than just music; there were activities for children and wide range of sides shows and things to do for all the family. Our interest was of course the music. This was the fifth year of the festival.<\/p>\n

The whiskey Rebellion was a band we saw recently at The Shed, we reported in our July round-up<\/a>.<\/p>\n
