Dreaming in Colour Productions<\/em> – it’s the sort of name you are not likely to forget. Most music-goers in Leicester would have been to at least one of its gigs. Tonight they celebrated their birthday – the anniversary of the foundation of the group in 2013, the same year that this magazine went live.<\/p>\n

Many of the shows put on by DCIP have been reviewed in this magazine.\u00a0 Most of our monthly round-ups of live music have included at least one DCIP event.<\/p>\n

Here are just a few of the shows that were feature articles over the previous couple of years, together with some photos from our library to jog your memory about those nights.<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, we featured Some Sort Of Showcase<\/em>, a series of gigs organised by DCIP in association with The Honey Label Ltd.<\/p>\n

In 2015 we published out Gigs Of The Year feature article. DCIP found a place in that with their Upstairs\/Downstairs<\/em> show in February.<\/p>\n

Chasing Cadence<\/strong> was one of the band to take to the stage for the Upstairs\/Downstairs<\/em> gig on 31st July.<\/p>\n

A list of bands and artists that have appeared at DCIP shows reads like a roll-call for the famous and loveable both from Leicester and from the rest of the world<\/p>\n

In May 2015, DCIP were at The Soundhouse putting on Little Dead Town<\/strong> and a raft of other bands to support headliners Breathe In The Silence<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Abandon Her<\/strong> topped the bill at The Cookie in March 2015<\/p>\n

A performance we described as ‘sensational’ was delivered by the band New Priorities<\/strong> at the Shed in February 2015 at another of DCIP’s shows.<\/p>\n

In the same month Omaha<\/strong> topped the bill at The Soundhouse.<\/p>\n

Upstairs\/Downstairs<\/em> was featured in a review of a show at The Shed that featured The Stations<\/strong>, Weak Knees<\/strong>, Creatin\u2019 Havoc<\/strong>, The Summer War<\/strong> and The Sedations<\/strong> and another line-up of acts in the basement.<\/p>\n
