If you fancy a laid-back night with some of the most promising local up-and-coming acts, give Leicester Unplugged at The Soundhouse<\/a> a try. An acoustic event features Boats On The Ocean<\/strong> with support from Dum Language<\/strong>, Cassius <\/strong>and Kyuzo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Boats On The Ocean, East Midlands based four-piece formation started in 2018, have already played Y Not Festival, supported The Pale White<\/strong> on tour, released various singles and are to debut with the new single, Run<\/em>. BOTC is a young alternative rock band with an indie twist, featuring psychedelic riffs and a vibrant vocal that lyrically discuss both internal and external struggles with society, acceptance and ex-lovers.<\/p>\n

After the very first (smashing) performance in April, Dum Language has kept their foot on the gas and spread their noisy grunge\/rock \u2018n\u2019 roll all around Leicester. They\u2019ll tune it down a bit for the intimate stripped-back performance, though.<\/p>\n

Both acts will be joined by Cassius, a well-established Leicester solo acoustic songwriter and Kyuzo, straight from Birmingham, self-called vintage rock band with recently released EP, Look<\/em>, and an undeniable early Arctic Monkeys<\/strong> vibe.<\/p>\n
