Sorry<\/strong><\/a>, four-piece alternative band, formed by Asha Lorenz and Louis O\u2019Bryen, has been noticed for their lo-fi fuzzy grunge everywhere from Vice and Wonderland to The Guardian. Playing along with genre-bending\/soon-to-be huge gems like HMLTD, Sunflower Bean and Fontaines D.C., they\u2019ve gathered quite a mass of admirers. Shame, who they\u2019d previously shared a stage with, praised them – \u201cThey are not here to impress anyone or write songs they feel would give the A&Rs in the crowd a boner, they are here because music is truly their passion.\u201d<\/p>\n

Denying to be categorised, their distinctively weary rock \u2019n\u2019 roll is so unique and elusive that they just may be the 2020 grant re-discovery. Especially with debut album ‘925<\/em>‘ set to be released in Spring via Domino Recording Co. For a pre-taste give a listen to their newest single Right Round The Clock<\/em><\/a>, a nonchalant femme-fatale satire of Tears For Fears Mad World<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t be sorry. Come to the gig at The Cookie on February 4 to see them live, searching for neo-romance with The Velvet Underground-like arrogance.<\/p>\n
