Madina Lake at the O2 Academy Leicester with Fearless Vampire Killers<\/h1>\n

Rockband Madina Lake<\/strong>, founded in May 2005 in Chicago, came to Leicester’s O2 Academy tonight as part of their UK Farewell tour.<\/p>\n

Touring with them were Fearless Vampire Killers<\/strong> and The Super Happy Fun Club<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Madina Lake are:\u00a0Nathan Leone – vocals, \u00a0Mateo Camargo – guitar, \u00a0Matthew Leone – bass and\u00a0Daniel Torelli – drums.<\/p>\n

Madina Lake decided to play their Farewell Tour in the UK.<\/p>\n

Suffolk ‘death pop’ band Fearless Vampire Killers<\/strong> supported the tour.<\/p>\n

Fearless Vampire Killers in Leicester<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Fearless Vampire Killers are Keir Kemp, Drew Woolnough, Cyrus Barrone,\u00a0Laurence Beveridge\u00a0\u00a0and Luke Illingworth.<\/p>\n

We have seen FVKs in Leicester before. Arts in Leicester reviewed their performance at the Soundhouse in 2012<\/a>.<\/p>\n

We also saw them at The Strawberry Fields festival in 2011<\/a>. Our first encounter with them was in April 2009 when we saw them in London<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It was really good to see FVKs supporting a band as big as Madina Lake on the main stage of the O2 here in Leicester.<\/p>\n
