Abrandon Reality<\/em> is the newest album released by one of Leicester\u2019s own talent- Brandon Neal<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Brandon has left his signature in several venues, inspiring the crowds with his quirky stage presence and his theatrical performances. With his companion- a little fox that sits on his guitar, Brandon always delivers an excellent performance beyond what most people with an acoustic guitar could ever achieve. Brandon is indeed one of the finest musicians Leicester has to offer.<\/p>\n

Abrandon Reality<\/em> begins with Sleepyhead<\/em>, a seemingly cheery song with melancholy undertones. Brandon has a knack for fooling the listener into believing his music is surface-level happiness and tranquillity, but this is absolutely not the case. This album reflects this characteristic of Brandon\u2019s music throughout.<\/p>\n

Through generous finger-picking and rich tones expelling from his guitar, Brandon carries this album with his warm melodic vocals and his, to put it bluntly, depressing lyrics. As you begin to adventure deeper into this mystical album, Brandon begins to experiment more with different effects, all generated from his own everyday objects and vocal flares. Although subtle, they add to the atmosphere and provide the album with a dreamy, lucid vibe.<\/p>\n

I particularly liked One Bad Day<\/em> – the final song on the album. It is relatable, warm, comforting, and full of twists on words and ideas that work well in the context of the song. Brandon personifies basic things and brings his songs to life. This album is a hit and is one I would recommend to those who are fans of Passenger and Radical Face.<\/p>\n

I look forward to seeing Brandon live again, he will always deliver without hesitation and is one of the friendliest folk you will ever have the opportunity to talk to.<\/p>\n
