Buskers to raise money for charity<\/h1>\n

Singing stars from Leicester are to gather at the Clock Tower this year to raise money for Shelter, the charity that supports homeless people.<\/p>\n

On Christmas eve, the singers and musicians will gather at around 1 pm in the city centre to sing to the shoppers and rattle their tins.<\/p>\n

in 2012 Si Clancy<\/strong> and Adam Dunmore<\/strong> led a group of singers and musicians in a fund raising busk-in at the clock tower.\u00a0The group raised \u00a3196 for Shelter, the charity that helps homeless people.<\/p>\n

The standard of \u00a0music was high and everyone had a great time singing for the public, bringing some festive music to add to the cheer of Christmas.<\/p>\n

Apart from the usual seasonal carols, the group also sang a wide range of other songs. The response from the public was marvelous, some stopping to stand and listen for quite a long time, hearing music of unusually high quality.<\/p>\n

Apart from singers, musicians can bring their guitars and other instruments to support the musical mix.<\/p>\n
