Young and Wasted<\/em> album launch<\/h2>\n

Leicester band FourPoint Oh headlined tonight’s show with support from Jonezy, BleechBox, Beneath The Lights and Patriot Rebel.<\/p>\n

It was nice to see The Shed packed for once as fans gathered for the launch of the new EP by FourPoint Oh.<\/p>\n

Opening the show, music artist Jonezy<\/strong> brought his unique act to the stage for half an hour of high-energy songs and a lot of crowd-pulling stage moves. Having formed close friendships and musical collaborations with FourPoint Oh, Jonezy used his set to film a video for his latest song Mental<\/em>, a track that fuses his love of dup-step beats with the vocals of hard core metal rock. In the video are scenes taken from tonight’s stage performance, spliced with specially filmed clips from the back of house area.<\/p>\n

Think Commissioner, SOAD, Pendulum, Limp Bizkit, Prodigy, Labrinth, Skrillex \u2026<\/p>\n

Jamie: \u201cwith the release of Mental<\/em> on the same day, it was a big night for Jonezy. During the night he was recording his latest music video for his new track Mental<\/em>, and mental is! What we got at the Shed – with Jonezy being the first act – he got everyone jumping, singing, just going nuts. Although he had technical issues with his CD during Stronger Now,\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0he continued on – like a trooper.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bleech Box<\/strong> delivered a good set, full of energy and fun. Jumpy pop punk with no holds barred stage antics. Not seen anything like this since the last the Utopian’s last gig.<\/p>\n

Jamie: \u201cHaving never seen Bleech Box before, they reminded me of early Green Day and Blink 182 – that hard punch to the face punk rock sound, I definitely look forward to seeing more of Bleech box and hearing what they have got for us.\u201d<\/p>\n

Beneath The Lights. \u00a0<\/strong>Fast-paced songs laced with big guitar solos kept the party going and the sounds coming on.<\/p>\n

Jamie: \u201cEven though I have never managed to see Beneath The Lights before they gave a really good sound and a really energetic bass player. The band started in 2010 they released their EP in 2012 with influences from New Found Gloryand A Day To Remember \u2013 you can definitely hear those types of bands in Beneath The Lights.<\/p>\n

Patriot Rebel<\/strong>.\u00a0Jamie \u201cone of Nottingham’s finest hard rock bands came over to Leicester for an evening full of metal, punk and absolute mayhem. Patriot Rebel played a cracking set, and although this was another band I had not yet seen, I can’t wait to see them again, a great sound from a great live band.\u201d<\/p>\n

FourPointOh<\/strong>.\u00a0Jamie: \u201cThe moment everyone was waiting for. FourPointOh took to the stage, the pit opened up and mayhem rained down. FourPointOh was used to a good crowd but I believe the crowd tonight surprised them. Rob struggled to play his solos with so many hands reaching up to him, people crowd surfing, a huge wall of death opened up, the crowd singing Bohemian\u00a0Rhapsody<\/em> even though that was just an intro to the band’s last song of\u00a0the night, it was just an absolutely brilliant night – one that FourPoint Oh and all the fans will never forget and The Shed won’t forget\u00a0either.<\/p>\n
