One of Leicester’s top bands Midnight Wire was at the Firebug tonight with a strong supporting line-up.<\/p>\n

On stage tonight: Saccades, The Dead Shoot, Soundtrack, Midnight Wire.<\/p>\n

Midnight Wire<\/strong> headlined tonight’s show, in celebration of the launch of their new single All For You<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Now with new guitarist Jamie Fallon (ex Leaving Party), Alex Van Roose led the band in the vocals and guitar, with Arjun Johal on bass and vocals and Nik Green on Drums.<\/p>\n

Also noted as a popular and entertaining solo singer and songwriter, the one thing you can say about Alex Van Roose<\/strong> is that he is highly talented front-man. Part singer, part stand-up comedian, \u201cRooster\u201d is a phenomenon on the Leicester music scene and tonight he was on top form.<\/p>\n

At one point he got a member of the audience to come up on stage and join in with the chorus of ‘Excuses<\/em>‘; later he was off the stage and on the floor, singing to fans and rolling about, much to everyone’s amusement.<\/p>\n
