East Midlands covered by music website<\/h1>\n

Music in Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire and Nottinghamshire is being covered by East Midlands Music<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

For Leicestershire, Music in Leicester<\/strong> has been selected as the link for our local area.<\/p>\n

The website aims to cover the major music news, reviews and interviews across all of the East Midlands. \u00a0The East Midlands Music website was launched on 14th March this year and its Editor-in-Chief now is Olly Stabler.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Speaking about the site, The Editor-in-Chief\u00a0 said:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

“We are excited to launch EMM. We realised there was no website or magazine covering the entire music scene across all of the East Midlands, so we decided to take on the challenge.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

“2014 has been a big year for music in the East Midlands with many new festivals and acts emerging onto the national music scene from the region.\u00a0We are going to ensure we cover all of it\u201d.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

When asked how EMM was going to support the local scene across the East Midlands, the Editor commented:
\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

“EMM is simple, we will cover all major gigs across the East Midlands leaving the local gigs to county and city specific sites.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

“We have an exciting project in the pipeline which will offer a lot of exposure to up and coming bands. More information on this project will follow in the near future\u201d.<\/p>\n
