Rainbows charity gig at The Shed.<\/h1>\n

On the main stage tonight: Jonezy, Velocity, No Apologies, Three Thirds Below, Scream Blue Murder.<\/p>\n

And in the Basement: Her Burden, Les Hariden, Castle Hill, The World Can Wait, The Exhausted.<\/p>\n

Tonight charity show was opened by Jonezy<\/strong>, on the main stage, performing a selection of his fizzing tracks that soon had the crowd dancing, clapping in time with the beats and joining in with the choruses.<\/p>\n

It was a warm summer evening and despite the exams, there were plenty of young people here tonight to enjoy a night of musical entertainment.<\/p>\n

Velocity<\/strong> performed a good set of covers and pop songs and their cover of an AC\/DC song, featuring strong vocals from the lead singer, was particularly enjoyable.<\/p>\n

Down in the basement the audience was sitting on the floor listen to singer Les Hariden<\/strong> and a set from Castle Hill.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Also in the basement The World Can Wait<\/strong> did a likeable cover of a song from Iron Maiden as well as their own song Rabbit in the Headlight<\/em> \u2013 one that I have heard several times now and like more each time I heard it. TWCW have a knack of choosing really good tunes for their set-list. Well chosen covers such as Loose Lips Sink Ships<\/em> by Change and Pace. Tonight the audience was with them, getting involved and loving what the band was doing.<\/p>\n

The audience was split between upstairs and downstairs, with contrasting line-ups, providing a choice of musical styles.<\/p>\n

\"Three<\/a>
Three Thirds Below.

Upstairs Three Third Below’s trio of vocalists were delivering some exceptionally good songs. Fastly-paced and forged with pounding beats, they stormed the stage and gave us a resoundingly good set of songs. Their last song Expectations was extremely good.<\/p>\n

As Jonezy said \u201cAll the bands performed really well\u201d and yes, he was right about that. It was a night of varied music but all of it was well worth seeing.<\/p>\n

The main stage reached a climax with Scream Blue Murder’s set of head-banging screamo songs. Congratulations to Jamie Borland for organising the show with Millie Potter and Leanne Boat.<\/p>\n
