Columns

Posts from regular contributors

We are pleased to welcome regular contributors to our magazine.

We want to start a number of columns – pages where people write about music on a regular basis.

Columns are a way of talking about music and musicians – and issues that are of interest to the musical community – rather than about gigs.

If you would like to become a regular contributor, contact us.

This page was edited on 22nd March 2019.

How regularly?

That is up to you.  Some people might wish to make a monthly entry in their column.  Others write when they have something to write about – when the inspiration comes to them.

Either approach is ok.

About what?

A columnist can write about a variety of things to do with music.  Alternatively, a columnist can stick to one subject and specialise in that. See, for example, Trevor’s Jazz page.

Will I get any help?

If you need it, yes.  If you are new to writing we can provide training.  We welcome students who want to get published as part of their course.
